Where did July go! It seems we just arrived in Washington state, yet it’s been a full month of full time living full of fun! All four Grands have had their turn spending a few nights with us and wearing us out! Biking, hiking, swimming, jet skiing, and learning new skills! Next month we will take them “real” camping in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest on Mt. Rainier!
Perfect Weather Perfect Place
It doesn’t get much better than this! Sunny skies with highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s. It makes for the perfect day to explore the forests and tide pools of the Pacific Northwest (PNW). This Earth Mother is in heaven! 🙂
Home Sweet Home
Our RV Park is in small little town called South Prairie where I have discovered a delightful coffee shop, a great walking/biking trail, and a fun little creek.
Never Ending Projects
John worried he would be bored in retirement and full time RVing. HAHA!! In our first week a water leak was discovered in one of the storage bays. After chasing that problem for several days and many trips to the local hardware stores, he organized the mess of hoses and created more storage. He’s fine tuned our bank of batteries for solar power and built a travel stand for our new grill. AND on top of all that he’s helping put a new roof on his sister’s lake house!
Final Thoughts
Well, as you can see we are LOVING our time with family. There’s lots to “go, see, do.” Unfortunately, COVID prevents us from visiting the museums and zoos. Fortunately, nature doesn’t close! We maintain our distance with other nature lovers and enjoy the beauty that is the PNW!
Until next time…Stay Safe! Stay Sane! And Stay in Touch!

I love the PNW! I’m so glad your are exploring so much of it.
We hope to get out to the coast before we leave. It might just be a daytrip!
I need to put my toes in the sand! The rocky beaches of the sound just aren’t the same! 🙂
